Who we are
VICEWIRE is operated by AshnatnyLLC. AshnatnyLLC is the data controller for personal data collected through the Service, meaning we decide how and why it is processed.
Data we collect and why
- Account data (email, username, login credentials or Google sign-in identifier) — to create and run your account. Legal basis: contract.
- Saved content and preferences (saved intel, watchlist, notification settings) — to provide the features you use. Legal basis: contract.
- AI conversations and feedback (prompts, answers, ratings) — to provide the assistant, enforce usage limits and improve quality. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Launch alert and waitlist sign-ups (email, optional username, interests) — to send the updates you asked for. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw any time.
- Usage data (pages viewed, search queries, device and browser info, IP address) — for security, fraud prevention and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to respond to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Who we share data with
- Service providers who host and operate the Service (cloud hosting, database, AI processing, email delivery), under contract.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities, where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period after you close it, unless we must keep it longer by law. Usage logs are kept only as long as needed for their purpose.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. UK/EEA residents may also complain to their data protection supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level data permissions.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear stored data in your browser settings, though you'll be signed out.

We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
